With festival season gaining on us yet again, we're rounding up some of the city's finest, from funk and soul day parties and multi-venue sensations to weekend-long carnivals fronting A-list lineups that you simply can't miss.

This year, you can expect CMAT headlining Victoria Park as part of LIDO, and Mighty Hoopla to throw it back to the 00s with headliners Lily Allen and Scissor Sisters, to name a few. Our London Music Festival Guide For 2026

1. All Points East

  • Location: Victoria Park
  • When: 21st, 22nd, 23rd 28th, and 30th of August 2025
  • Lineup highlights: Tyler, The Creator, Turnstile, Wunderhorse, Lorde

East London's favourite is returning to Victoria Park this August for two whole weekends. The lineup of All Points East offers a stellar selection of chart-topping artists (who have a few Brits under their belt, no less) and electronic music moguls in the form of Pinkpantheress, 2Hollis, and more.

Get ready for performances from the likes of Jorja Smith, Lorde, Tyler, the Creator, and more at one of the best London music festivals in 2026. You'll also be able to enjoy cold pints and G&Ts in the (hopefully) sun, alongside a selection of street food eats.

This Victoria Park music festival is going to be bigger and better than ever.

2. Waterworks Festival

  • Location: Gunnersbury Park
  • When: 12th and 13th of September 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Ross from Friends, Bradley Zero & Erol Alkan, Super & Objekt

Celebrating electronic music culture and independent artists, Waterworks is going to be one of the top festivals this city has to offer. It will be small but mighty, seeing out summer's balmy days with one helluva shindig.

As for the artists? Expect Ross from Friends, Super & Objekt, Daniel Avery, Skee Mask, and more to be taking to the decks on stages throughout the day 'til 11pm.

3. Mighty Hoopla

  • When: 30th and 31st of May 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Lily Allen, Agnes, Scissor Sisters, Perrie, Cascada

Mighty Hoopla is returning with a star-studded lineup that includes Sisscor Sisters, Cascada, Josie Harsh, Empress Of, and Lily Allen. 

If you're looking for pop stars, drag acts and outrageous outfits, then this is the festival for you. But the weekend is about so much more than just the main stage, so get exploring those tents if you want to find comedy and quirky bingo events.

4. Wireless Festival

  • Location: Finsbury Park
  • When: 10th to the 12th of July 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Ye

One of the capital's most sought-after sessions, Wireless Festival is hitting up Finsbury Park this July. For the second time, it'll feature one headliner thanks to Ye's residency (Kanye West).

There'll be more acts to be announced, so there's that to look forward to, and tickets are on sale now from £151.50 for a day ticket per person.

5. Kaleidoscope Festival

  • Where: Alexandra Palace Park 
  • When: 11th of July 2026
  • Lineup highlights: Rudimental, Groove Armada, MJ Cole

Set against the backdrop of the iconic Alexandra Palace, Kaleidoscope Festival is one for those who like their events chilled, interesting and family-friendly.

Whether you're getting down to Rudimental or MJ Cole on the main stage and Groove Armada or DJ Paulette on Cloud 10, giggling in the comedy tent or checking out cabaret, this quirky carnival is offering something for every kind of reveller.

Pub In The Park 

  • Where: Gunnersbury Park
  • When: 30th of May to the 1st of June 2025
  • Lineup highlights: Soul II Soul, Jack Savorett, Grace Dent

You might know him best for rustling up divine plates of grub, but did you know that Tom Kerridge runs an annual food and music festival called Pub In The Park, that tours Marlow, Acton, Reigate and St Albans? Taking over Gunnersbury Park will be a roster of top chefs like Tom Brown and Michel Roux, stalls from restaurants such as The Tamil Prince, Chelsea’s The Butcher’s Tap & Grill, Duck and Rice, and The Grazing Goat - Cubitt House, plus music from Soul II Soul, Jack Savoretti, and Ministry of Sound Classical. It's the ideal weekend for foodies and entertainment lovers alike.

Lambeth Country Show

  • Where: Brockwell Park 
  • When: 7th and 8th of June 2025
  • Lineup highlights: TBA

One of our absolute favourite festivals is Lambeth Country Show, which takes over Brixton's Brockwell Park every summer. This year, the community event will be hosting an array of workshops and local vendors serving up delicious Caribbean food, alongside live music across multiple stages. If this sounds like your thing then get ready for a weekend full of reggae, soul, ska and hip-hop.

BST Hyde Park 

  • Where: Hyde Park
  • When: 27th, 28th and 29th of June and 4th, 5th, 6th, 11th and 13th of July 2025
  • Lineup highlights: Olivia Rodrigo, Sabrina Carpenter, Clairo, Olivia Dean

Taking over the largest green space in Central London throughout the summer is BST Hyde Park, a festival series that never misses on bringing A-list talent to the big stage. Since starting in 2013, the event has seen the likes of Bruce Springsteen and Blackpink perform in front of thousands of revellers. This year is no different, as Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo, Zach Bryan, Noah Kahan and the one and only Neil Young and the Chrome Hearts prepare to put on a show.

Hospital30 Block Party

  • Where: Hackney Wick
  • When: 1st August 2026
  • Lineup highlights: P Money, Flava D, High Contrast

A brand-new festival is heading to London on Saturday 1st August, as part of Hospital Records' series of events celebrating their 30th birthday. Renowned for working with the biggest drum & bass names, the label's Hospital30 Block Party will be an open-meets-indoor concept across Hackney Wick, spanning both sides of the canal with six incredible stages. Think intimate club rooms and a huge outdoor stage.

On the lineup you'll find some of the scene's most influential D&B artists, from P Money and Whiney to High Contrast, Flava D and more. There will also be chill-out areas for when you need a breather, with a street food and drinks court from Hackney Bride. Oh, and did we mention tickets are capped at £40? For such an incredible, bass-heavy lineup in one of London's coolest neighbourhoods, that's a bit of a bargain if you ask us.

Somerset House Summer Series

  • Where: Somerset House
  • When: 10th to the 20th of July 2025
  • Lineup highlights: St Vincent, Rizzle Kicks, Jacob Banks, Joy Oladokun

Running in partnership with American Express, Somerset House Summer Series has made a name for itself by hosting a series of concerts within its neoclassical courtyard. They combine an intimate capacity with extravagant lineups, putting on some of the best acts from across the globe. This year sees the likes of Rizzle Kicks, St Vincent, Freya Ridings and Jacob Banks take to the stage.

Wide Awake

  • Where: Brockwell Park
  • When: 23rd of May 2025
  • Lineup highlights: CMAT, English Teacher, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, Sega Bodega

South London's Brockwell Park sees the return of Wide Awake for 2025, a festival that promises to start the season of bum bags and beats with a bang before it plays host to an array of other extravaganzas. This independent event promises alternative music discovery in the form of its headliners Kneecap, as well as sets from CMAT, English Teacher, Peaches and more.

Cross The Tracks 

  • Where: Brockwell Park
  • When: 25th of May 2025
  • Lineup highlights: Michael Kiwanuka, Ezra Collective, Shy One, Gilles Peterson

Swapping distorted guitars and cascading synths for the city's top jazz, funk and soul festival on the second day of the long weekend, Brockwell Park hosts Cross The Tracks. Across nine stages there'll be a diverse lineup of talent from Michael Kiwanuka and Ezra Collective, plus over 70 street food vendors and plenty of craft beer. Browse handmade jewellery stalls, attend thought-provoking panel talks led by charities and more at this day festival.

Battersea Park In Concert 

  • Where: Battersea Park
  • When: 23rd to the 25th of August 2025
  • Lineup highlights: Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, A Night At The Movies

This summer, Battersea Park In Concert is bringing an unforgettable open-air music experience to one of London’s most iconic green spaces, where the park will transform into a vibrant festival of live music, gourmet picnics, and pure summer joy. Each night boasts a unique theme - kick things off with the Symphonic Disco, blending orchestral grandeur with disco classics, get swept away by the magic of A Night at the Movies, or groove to Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra, joined by surprise special guests. Families can also enjoy Kids Tipiland, an interactive play zone designed for little festival-goers.

LIDO Festival 

  • Where: Victoria Park 
  • When: 6th, 7th, 13th, 14th and 15th of June 2025
  • Lineup highlights: Air, A.G. Cook, Alex G, Panda Bear

New for 2025, LIDO Festival is coming to Victoria Park for five incredible days of music, creativity, and community spirit. Running from the 6th to the 15th of June, this fan-first festival brings together globally loved artists and emerging talent, all while championing sustainability and giving back to East London. The lineup is nothing short of spectacular - think Massive Attack, Air, Jamie xx, Charli XCX and London Grammar, with Outbreak Fest shaking things up on the 13th, featuring Turnstile, Alex G, and Danny Brown. Add in street food and immersive art, and you've got yourself one of the most exciting festivals of the year.

Field Day 

  • Where: Brockwell Park

The pulse of London’s underground music scene is shifting as Field Day 2025 enters a brand-new chapter, relocating to Brockwell Park to join a thriving hub of festivals dedicated to music, culture, and creativity. Now, in its 18th year, the festival continues to shape musical trends, bringing together diverse audiences and an eclectic lineup that champions both rising stars and iconic headliners. Leading the charge for 2025 is the internationally renowned Peggy Gou, a DJ and producer who epitomises the festival's ethos of innovation and forward-thinking soundscapes.

Festival Republic At Gunnersbury Park

  • Where: Gunnersbury Park
  • When: 8th, 9th, 10th, 15th and 16th of August
  • Lineup highlights: The Smashing Pumpkins, Supergrass, White Lies

Every year, Festival Republic at Gunnersbury Park puts on a string of shows in Acton and this year is no different, with some major names on the lineup. They'll be hosting PAWSA, head banging with The Libertines (with Supergrass as support), throwing it back to the 90s with The Smashing Pumpkins, and getting dreamy thanks to Khruangbin's headline spot on the 15th of August. Martin Garrix will be closing the run on the 16th with a spectacular electronic set, including support from Steve Angello and Bunt.
